We depart very early toward Tortuguero via the Braulio Carrillo Highway, showcasing its majestic natural beauty. We stop in Guápiles for a delicious breakfast and continue to the boarding point, where we begin an exciting boat adventure that allows us to observe the remarkable variety of flora and fauna in this rainforest region. In the afternoon we head to the town of Tortuguero, where we appreciate its diverse local crafts. Accommodation in Tortuguero.

We start the day with a nature walk along the lodge trails to appreciate the lush tropical rainforest, where nature enthusiasts observe numerous species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. In the afternoon we continue admiring the Caribbean wonders on a tour through the Tortuguero Canals, known as the "Amazon of Costa Rica". During season (July to October), there is the possibility of witnessing the nesting of sea turtles that give the area its name.

Free day to enjoy the area. Options: visit Arenal Volcano National Park, relax in hot springs (Baldi, Tabacón, Ecotermales), zip-lining, hanging bridges, rafting, horseback riding, a visit to the La Fortuna Waterfall, or explore the Venado Caverns.

Transfer via the Car-Boat-Car system across Lake Arenal: an overland stretch to the dock, a lake crossing enjoying views of the volcano and the mountains, and a final stretch on to Monteverde.
