We depart very early toward Tortuguero via the Braulio Carrillo Highway, which showcases its majestic nature. We stop in Guápiles for a delicious breakfast and continue to the boarding point, where we begin our boat adventure that allows us to see the great variety of flora and fauna in this jungle area. We start the day with a hike along the lodge trails to appreciate the lush tropical rainforest, where nature lovers observe numerous species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. In the afternoon we continue admiring the wonders of the Caribbean on a tour of the Tortuguero Canals, known as the "Amazon of Costa Rica". During season (July to October), opportunity to witness the nesting of sea turtles that give the area its name.
