The Bird Watching Tour in Drake Bay is an activity worth doing, it is perfect for the less adventurous traveler looking for a calm and low impact trip. Thanks to its position Drake offers the possibility of seeing many of the almost 400 species of birds found in the Osa Peninsula. Around Drake Bay, you can find scarlet macaws, toucans, tanagers, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, grasshoppers, sparrows, euphonias, orioles and many more species.
This tour leaves at 5:30 a.m., the perfect time to see the birds in their natural habitat and takes place in the vicinity of our facilities and nearby trails where the guide will do his best to find some species that you may never have seen before.
