DAY 01: INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – SAN JOSÉ Welcome to Costa Rica! One of our representatives will be waiting for you at the International Airport, to transfer you to the hotel in San José. Lodging in San Jose. DAY 02: SAN JOSÉ – TORTUGUERO Breakfast, lunch and dinner. This day we leave very early for Tortuguero, taking the Braulio Carrillo highway which will show us its majestic nature. We will stop in Guápiles to have a delicious breakfast, and then follow the route to the boarding place, where we begin the adventure by boat which will allow us to see the great variety of flora and fauna that this area has. Upon arrival at the hotel, a delicious lunch and a moment of rest await us. In the afternoon we will go to the town of Tortuguero, where we will be able to appreciate the great variety of handicrafts. Lodging in Tortuguero. DAY 03: TORTUGUERO CANALS Breakfast, lunch and dinner. A new day, which we will begin with a walk through the exuberant Tropical Forest, where nature lovers will be able to observe many species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. And in the afternoon we will continue admiring the wonders of the Caribbean on our tour of the Tortuguero Canals. Lodging in Tortuguero. DAY 04: TORTUGUERO – ARENAL Breakfast and lunch. After it we leave by boat through the canals to where we will take the bus to get to the restaurant where we will have our lunch. After this we connect with our transfer from this place to the north of the country, La Fortuna de San Carlos, home of the imposing Volcano. Arenal. Lodging in Arenal. DAY 05: ARENAL Breakfast. The Arenal volcano in Costa Rica is located in the district of La Fortuna, canton of San Carlos, province of Alajuela. It has a height of 1,670 meters above sea level. The volcano is located within the Arenal Volcano National Park. It began its last and current period of activity in 1968. Since that date, it has constantly emitted gases and water vapors, with some explosions with the emission of pyroclastic materials and sometimes strong rumbles. DAY 06: ARENAL – GUANACASTE Breakfast. This day they will move to the Pacific coast, Playa Potrero is a wonderful place to spend the day lying on the warm sand, taking a bath in the ocean or reading under the shade of the palm trees. On the north side of the beach is the small fishing village of Potrero and on the southern end is the elegant and popular beach and community of Playa Flamingo, with a full service offering boat tours, water sports and luxury hotels. around the beach. Here you can enjoy activities such as world-class fishing in the deep waters to catch marlin, tuna and swordfish. Choose from a wide variety of water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. For those who want to get off the beach and discover the surrounding jungle and wildlife, visit one of the Santa Rosa and Palo Verde National Parks and Nature Reserves. Lodging in Guanacaste. DAY 07: GUANACASTE Breakfast. Free day to enjoy dreamy summer days and numerous warm beaches with their turquoise waters, either doing the different activities they offer or simply relaxing in the hotel pool. During the morning we enjoyed this beautiful beach for the last time and in the afternoon we left for San Jose to spend the last night. Lodging in San Jose. DAY 10: SAN JOSÉ – INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. (D) At the indicated time one of our representatives will be at the reception to take you in the transfer from the hotel to the international airport in order to take the flight back to your country.
