This adventure takes place in the tropical facilities of CATIE (Centro Agronomico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza). The topography of the roads and beginners such as children over 8 years old can enjoy it. This is dedicated to both the production of milk and fattening cattle, a nice experience where you have information about types of food, the milking process, animal species. Then it continues to pass through sugar cane plantations, coffee and a collection of cacao plants. Administrative and research, the lake with a large number of bird species, educational centers and part of the history that CATIE holds for the world.

The last part of the tour is a quick visit (approximately 20 minutes) to the CATIE Botanical Garden, where the great diversity of forest and fruit plantations will be explained, as well as some exotic species that are mostly from other tropical countries. It should be noted that the fruits of these plantations can be appreciated depending on the time of year and their stage of production.
