The Gulf of Nicoya, is a paradisiacal archipelago made up of Islands, with an exuberant natural wealth and a sanctuary for sea birds, it has white sand beaches, a flora and fauna typical of our Central Pacific. In this beautiful archipelago you can find: Isla Tortuga (called Tolinga by the indigenous people); It has an extension of 120 hectares, it is maintained as a protected forest.

Isla Tortuga has the Ecological Blue Flag award, since its waters are free of contamination. This distinction is granted by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute. Due to its geographical characteristic Isla Tortuga, it has its turquoise waters, which are optimal for swimming.
